    Situation

The One Degree Mentoring Programme is only the first phase of the journey we aim to provide to our young adults. Once we have got them through the GCSE exams we aim to support them through the options of academics and careers with the help of mentors and career advisers. The lack of access to networks and realistic advice can often reduce confidence and aspiration levels. Our summer workshops will help identify options, source opportunities and introduce the students to a series of contacts.

    Solution

Our workshops, hosted at Hult Business School, will provide the students with the following: - CV writing skills - Interview skills - Career lectures from industry experts - Aptitude assessments - Group and individual exercises - Career networking - Alumni networking One Degree then aims to stay involved and in touch with the student alumni via online support and several annual events.
