We are raising money to enable Ray's Playhouse to be able to continue running. Ray's Playhouse provides vital, much needed services to the diverse local families in Sands End, Fulham. We receive no direct funding except to run two sessions as part of the local children's centre offer.

Situation
Ray's Playhouse is located in the diverse, disadvantaged area of Sands End, Fulham. There are many families living in the local area who need a warm, safe and welcoming place to access with their children. Numerous families in the area do not have access to a safe garden to enable their children to exercise and play. In Sands End 36.64% of children are living in poverty (Child Poverty Action Group), and families living standards show that the poverty rate is 31% (trust for London).
Solution
Ray's Playhouse provide a warm, safe environment for families to access an array of services. These include different play activities for parents/carers to enjoy with their children enabling their child to learn through play. We also provide a daily healthy snack for our families. We have a small welcoming team of qualified Early Years staff on hand to offer support and advice. Families who may be experiencing varying difficulties are referred to food bank and the Rose Voucher scheme.
