    Situation

Young women as they suffer from a particularly challenging set of educational barriers, due to cultural, political, social reasons that often leave them out of the job market:nearly 14% of world’s young women are unemployed, and in light of Covid youth unemployment has significantly increased. Our research with young women shows that a) young people see social enterprises as a positive way of creating change and that b) the climate emergency is one of the main issues that they want to tackle.

    Solution

The aim of the project is to give effective tools to young women to start social enterprises that are green and sustainable:to foster their employability, socio-educational and personal development. This pan-European project offers young women tools to improve their potential in the labour market and find sustainable solutions to support the local development of their communities through training, and the chance to start their own sustainable enterprise through the help of a trained mentor.
