    Situation

With more than 1 million children in Britain not owning a computer and the threat of a generation losing their education due to the impact of the coronavirus and lockdown, the Mail Force charity has stepped up again to help bring the nation together to address this critical issue.

    Solution

The donations will be used to refurbish laptops up to the specifications required by the Department for Education, which is working alongside Mail Force to provide the devices to schools. In addition to adding many thousands of computers into the supply chain, Mail Force will be working to combat data poverty and calling on the telecoms giants to end the high charges for data, which are leaving families financially crippled.
