Get 25 prosthetic legs to Africa every day from 1st December to 8th December 2020 and by the end of the week long campaign you will have given 175 more amputees the chance to walk again.

Situation
In the UK, approximately 5,000 prosthetic legs end up in landfills every year. Meanwhile, in Africa, 1.7 million amputees are in need of a limb to help them live independent lives. Legs4Africa is the charity aiming to change this imbalance.
Solution
By providing parts that are no longer needed from donors and NHS Hospitals in the UK we can not only ensure that amputees have access to the technology they need to walk again but we can also stop artificial limbs from ending up in landfill - reducing pressures on the environment.
