Situation
The limited knowledge about and opportunities for women in photography; the limited opportunities for emerging and early career photographers to have their work exhibited, discussed and better known alongside the work of more established photographers. We wish to provide opportunities for professional development for photographers, and to offer opportunities for the public to learn about and enjoy photography as an accessible and under appreciated art form.
Solution
By providing the opportunities described above through the festival and related activity and collaboration with a wide range of organisations, locally, nationally and internationally.
