Many young adults are dissatisfied with life and find it lacks meaning. Role models portrayed by the media to young people are often unattainable and statutory education fails a lot of young people leaving them unprepared for the challenges of real life and all too often are left not employment, education or training (NEET).

Lishi International uses traditional Chinese movement arts to educate people and thereby provide an alternate way of experiencing the world through embodiment or 'mindfulness'. Lishi utilises the science, philosophy and culture of Chinese dance to develop interpersonal skills, confidence and respect for self and others.
