HoardingUK,the only UK charity solely dedicated to hoarding behaviour,is hosting an arts event inviting those impacted to creatively express their experience of lockdown while challenging the stigmatising use of the word ‘hoarding’. Vibrant, vital people do not deserve to be treated like rubbish.

Situation
Over 3 million people in the UK are estimated to be suffering with hoarding disorder. HoardingUK (HUK) provides a plethora of free information and holistic services which meet the needs of our beneficiaries, though a national helpline, advocacy, support groups, talks, safeguarding and signposting to other services. This list is not exhaustive. In addition to our website we have Facebook groups, social networks and host national conferences. Paid service include in-home support and training.
Solution
HUK provides personal and practical support to people impacted with/by hoarding disorder/behaviour to enable people to improve the quality of their lives and the safety of their homes. Vision: We aspire to transfer our skills and knowledge into the community in order to bring personal, practical and systemic change across the UK.
