Nature in Art Reopening Resilience Fund

After a 5 month closure due to Covid-19, Nature in Art reopens on Sept 3rd. With no guaranteed or ongoing public or private funding, it needs to raise funds to keep resilient going forward and support its determined efforts to bring inspiration and learning to people during these difficult times.

Situation

The funds raised through this campaign will address the fact that our primary income streams dried up during our temporary closure. In addition, we are determined to maintain our collections and buildings during this challenging time and meet our fixed costs. This campaign will help us maintain resilience through Corvid-19 so we can stay reopened with confidence and energy, gradually reintroduce our other activity streams and introduce new opportunities for engagement (mostly digital).

Solution

Having never been in debt or borrowed money and with no ongoing or guaranteed public or private funding since opening in 1988, we understand the challenge of limited budgets, yet we have not faced times like these. Now that we have got to the point of reopening, safely negotiating a period of closure, we will continue to keep all costs to an absolute minimum, whilst raising funds to help cover our unavoidable costs. Our displays and opportunities can bring hope and enjoyment.
