Oxford Conservation Volunteers (OCV) benefits the local community by organising fun and rewarding projects every Sunday, where all kinds of people get a chance to do practical work on local nature reserves. The work helps improve biodiversity, wildlife habitat, and access to the countryside.

    Situation

    The work performed by OCV volunteers helps to improve biodiversity, wildlife habitat, and access to the countryside.

    Solution

    Projects include repairing fences and footpaths, maintaining wildflower meadows, working in woodlands and looking after ponds. Everyone is welcome to get involved.
