Situation
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 we have seen our waiting list increase to over 600 people in the last 3 months & referrals are still coming in. With additional funding Savana will be better equipped to meet the rise in demand for our service and will be able to offer additional counselling and enable our serivces team to provide vital support more efficiently.
Solution
This funding will enable us to provide an additional 300 free counselling sessions on top of the 5,000 we already offer (on average) per year to existing clients. This will make a significant impact to people who are awaiting emergeny support. It will also enable additional support for our services team to help them meet the increase in demand to offer client support for those on the waiting list for counselling.
