Partners Relief & Development seeks to help children and families in North-eastern Syria and previously ISIS-occupied regions of Iraq have access to health care and education. We will rebuild 1 clinic and 2 schools damaged by conflict, to help an estimated 25,000 patients and 1,500 children.

Situation
Since 2012, a brutal and complex civil war has enveloped Syria with 13.1 million people in need and 6.6 million people currently displaced. Half of these are children. In Iraq, thousands more have lived through daily horrors of ISIS occupation. Throughout the region, homes, schools and medical facilities have been destroyed by this conflict leaving millions of children unable to go to school or receive needed medical care.
Solution
Partners is working with communities to rebuild and repair existing health and education infrastructure. Through partnership with local communities our team and trusted partners assess needs and work together to repair buildings so that children have access to medical care and education. By investing in local communities, rather than temporary facilities that visit on occasion, we will help re-establish permanent clinics and schools to provide a better future for these children and families.
