Situation
We want music to be available to everyone, no matter what their situation is. Many people aren't able to access high quality live music and creative music-making – they may be in a hospital or residential care home, or unable to access affordable concerts. CLS believes that everyone should have access to the transformational power of music.
Solution
CLS works within a variety of participation settings to bring creative music-making and concerts to those who may not be able to attend live concerts. Our regular relaxed ‘Comfortable Classical’ concerts in the daytime encourage audience members to enjoy the music while drawing, knitting, dancing, or moving around the space.
