Situation
Spending on youth work is at it's lowest point in a generation as spending on youth services in England and Wales has been cut by 70% in real terms in less than a decade. This loss of youth workers in the public sector has led to third sector organisations needing to fill to gap.
Solution
Reign Ministries is one of the third sector organisations helping to address this cut in youth work provision by training youth workers for churches and charities. In many locations, particularly in rural areas, the only youth work that happens in the area, is the church-based youth work. Reign Ministries will release youth workers who can build local volunteer teams who can effectively engage young people and offer excellent youth provision.
