We are a church based organisation, providing medical, community and spiritual support for detox and addiction recovery, fundraising for the running costs of our Detox Centres. Head Office provides each centre with training, supervision, advice, administration and social media and publicity.

Situation
The problem of addiction, and the subsequent isolation and loss of relationship that can result from substance misuse. Due to the recent pandemic, inquiries into our detoxing process have increased by 300%, as well as demand for our ongoing sobriety support services. Quarantine has also increased issues surrounding mental health and loneliness, which our holistic and relational support is designed to combat.
Solution
We will be training new volunteers to befriend clients and support medically prescribed detoxes safely at home, through high level support or delivering supplies for those who need to self isolate. Our clients need our advocacy in their local communities, so we will continue to work with other agencies i.e. foodbanks in order to support them through the entire detox process. We will also expand our online recovery support services even further, with more recovery groups and one-to-one services.
