Situation
The absence or difficulty for rural under-served/ disadvantaged communities in Norfolk & Suffolk to access and engage with high quality, meaningful arts & cultural activities and interventions. Under-recognised deprivation in rural areas has significant impact on wellbeing, aspiration and socio-economic outcomes of people of all ages with heightened social isolation and loneliness. This has been exacerbated during the 2020 Covid-19 crisis adding to pressures on already stretched local services
Solution
Using our proven record in using the transformative power of the Arts to fight rural & social isolation; increase enjoyment, skills, health & wellbeing; broaden horizons & ambitions; making positive differences to the lives of people in rural communities. We do this by helping people access and engage with high-quality arts experiences, inc. live performance, cinema screenings, creative workshops/ sessions, and volunteer opportunities in their community to reach vulnerable, often unheard people
