JUMP event's have had a massive positive impact on our lives, we made memories that will last a lifetime not just for me as a parent but for L’s siblings as well, to watch them forget about how hard everyday life can get and just live in the moment and just be children was amazing.
JUMP events bring us together as a family. It really helped us realise that we weren't alone and that there were other people out there to help us and to talk to. The kids love attending because they can have fun, it's so helpful for us to meet other parents in similar situations to us.
In the UK over 49,000 children and young people are living with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness. This year the families we support have felt the effects of the Covid-19 lockdown more than anyone, with social isolation taking its toll, JUMP families are exhausted and feeling very alone after months of facing the unknown and providing round the clock care for their child. It's been such a tough time, they really need our support now more than ever before.
JUMP Children’s Charity will provide one of a kind memory making support events to bring these children and their families together for a day focused on fun, on making new friendships and making memories. Each event is centric to having fun, with tailored children's entertainment and sensory based play.
