Since Covid19, the ways in which The Matthew Project fundraise have been restricted at a time when our services have been in more demand than ever. We are looking raise funds through the Big Give Christmas 2020 appeal so that we can address the following: 1.) Increasing awareness, understanding and support for people affected by substance misuse 2.) Meet shortfall in our recovery support programme, helping vulnerable adults to boost their employability skills and reduce the risk of relapse.

With specialist one-to-one and group support at our new Next Steps recovery centre. Next Steps includes a wide range of facilities, including a training kitchen and barista bar, a skills and employability workshop, an exercise studio, an IT suite, an art studio, counselling rooms, and plenty of group and communal spaces. Support focuses on building self-esteem, establishing new friendships and community, and teaching new skills.
