Situation
These are the problems we would be seeking to solve: 1. Prevalent rates of fatalities among the BEMA populations due to the inability to access existing healthcare services. COVID-19 reinforced this is a big problem 2. The high rates of homelessness and rough sleeping associated with substance abuses 3. The highest number of school-age children in the world ages 06-12 year that are out of schools in Northern Nigeria 4. Record-breaking infant deaths and maternal casualties in Northern Nigeria
Solution
Our interventions would seek to solve the following problems 1. Utilising public health awareness enlightenment seminars targeting BAME populations in our communities 2. Relocating and the rehabilitation of the homeless and rough sleepers / supporting through hospitalisation rehab. 3. Embark on literacy enhancement project recruiting and retaining school-age children mostly girls to attain basic primary education 4. Health awareness seminars addressing maternal health and infant mortalities.
