    Situation

In the UK nearly 40% of individuals rescued from trafficking will be re-trafficked due to a lack of support and stability. We aim to break this cycle and support victims of slavery to start the long journey of rebuilding their lives. There are many potential barriers that individuals experience in rebuilding their lives. Rebuild acknowledges the power imbalances, stigma & discrimination that exploitation leaves and seeks to support individuals to feel empowered to embrace a future full of hope.

    Solution

As a charity we take a future focused approach to providing long term support that is tailored to each individual & helping them work towards their own future goals. Direct face to face support can make a vital difference in the lives of individuals who have experienced trafficking & slavery, helping reduce social isolation & support community connection. It can be anything from advocacy, practical assistance, emotional support and being simply being available to offer a listening ear.
