The British Youth Council wants to ensure we can continue to empower young people during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. By delivering our work digitally, we will ensure that young people continue to be heard on issues that affect them through online delivery and newly designed programmes.

Situation
Due to Covid-19, the British Youth Council made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel or postpone all physical events for the foreseeable future. By delivering our our current and newly designed programmes digitally, we aim to provide meaningful opportunities for young people to develop skills, attend training, network and engage in discussion and debate to empower them to find their voices and be heard. Young people should continue to be considered and consulted during the pandemic.
Solution
We aim to deliver our work digitally for young people until we are certain of the safety of all attendees at our events. This means we need to provide meaningful, enagaging, interesting and safe online delivery of our programmes. Your support will enable investment into online facilitation of training for young people, equipment to ensure the highest standard of delivery for young people and their safety and online resources for young people to access.
