Imagine having to choose between feeding your child or sending them to school? Or worse, forcing your child out on the streets to beg. If schools could provide sustainable nutritious meals then the children can choose an education! Political turmoil and the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in rising food prices and a deteriorating economy. More than 50% of Burundi’s population is chronically hungry. One in twelve children die before their fifth birthday.

Let’s start small where it counts. If we help child by child, school by school we can lay the foundations of a generation of well-fed, educated and self-sufficient children in Burundi. We can grow this garden seed by seed, tool by tool until it is fully self-sustaining. All donations will sow the seeds of long-term success, the more donations we can raise the larger the garden will grow! This vital project will provide fresh fruits and vegetables for the children, long term!
