  • This place has been a godsend to me as a place where I'm learning to grow from the inside out, learning to understand my thoughts & feelings. I feel safe to explore who I am, having the support of my peers and meeting fellow worriers who are in a life recovery process. Together we are strong.

Situation

Lancashire Women support over 8600 women and families across Lancashire each year. We encounter women on a daily basis who are in crisis, suffering from mental health issues, in need of practical advice or mentoring and social isolation. By continuing our work online after Covid-19 we can keep more women in the county connected.

Solution

We offer a holistic all systems approach within a safe & supportive environment or remotely as we have recently introduced, every woman receives an individual person centered response to meet their needs. We empower women to transform their lives bringing them together to find their voices, share experiences and understanding, develop their knowledge and skills and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions so they can become the individual they want to be.
