Special Days provide them and their families with quality time, and uplifting and unforgettable experiences at a time when they are needed most.

Every year thousands of young adults in the UK are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. When serious illness strikes, life is crudely interrupted and young adults are forced to focus all their time and energy on hospital appointments and gruelling treatments.The impact of such a diagnosis is devastating at any age, but especially so at a time that should be all about living life to the full.
Solution
For some a Special Day provides a positive focus away from diagnosis and treatment. A chance to return to some normality, which can boost confidence and motivation helping a young adult to move forwards with their lives. For others living with a palliative condition, it is a final chance to fulfil a dream and create lasting memories with their loved ones.
