In Ethiopia covid19 brought with it unemployment, economic collapse, homelessness, starvation and despair especially amongst the poorest people. Focussing on future stability for Homes, Health and Education we aim to offer grants and training to women and their families for recovery and growth.

Situation
Sudden joblessness: Children withdrawn from school. Movement Restrictions:Collapsed micro-businesses, loss of confidence and social status amongst women. Losses: Income, homelessness, social networks inc. family, destitution. Food shortages: reported starvation, deteriorated mental/physical health, desperation. Dehumanising living conditions in isolated areas including many people without clothing, appropriate housing, dignity or access to basic opportunity eg education, jobs etc.
Solution
Seeing the devastation covid19 restrictions enforced in 2020, we aim to re-establish economically stronger families, restore hope, dignity and sustainable stability in vulnerable communities through grants, workshops and training. We envisage help with housing rent debts, school fees, food, medicine and clothing. We can offer restart packages including financial help, workshops and family support to women whose businesses ran dry and those who want to start up with a more sustainable future.
