Our world is warming too quickly. Governments and other international actors need to take action to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees. But they are not acting quickly enough. In November 2021, Glasgow will host COP26 - an unprecedented opportunity for people of the UK to demand action. Schools have a critical role to play, but teachers and pupils often lack knowledge about climate change, and what they can do to take action themselves, and what they should be demanding of our world leaders.

Wicked Weather Watch will develop a new module in our acclaimed teacher training series to help teachers understand COP26, the opportunity it presents and how their pupils can be involved. We will roll out the training, supported by developing a schools pack containing practical activities and actions on climate change. Finally, we will develop an animated film for younger children - a group often missed - to help them understand climate change in a fun and non-daunting way.
