Situation
The Harlequins Foundation are proud to have recently launched our first ever wheelchair rugby team 'The Jesters' in line with our mission to provide opportunities for those who are underrepresented in society through the power of sport. The team is in need of funding to buy two specialised sports wheelchairs.
Solution
With the additional funding to purchase two specialised sports chairs, we will not have to cover the high cost of renting the chairs every week and can therefore invest funding in getting more coaches fully qualified to deliver the sport and bigger facility hire. This will mean that the team can continue to grow and develop and become more sustainable in the future.
