"I have been enjoying the online courses - been doing it with [other Members]. We zoom together and play the video, pausing to share what we have written etc. It been really helpful for me to have other people to be accountable to and to have a set time so I have some structure and routine”.
"All the different activities from movement to warm ups, the different teachers brought something unique and exciting to every lesson"
"Engaging in this online programme is amazing for me...It's just an online class programme I know, but for me it's a start, it's reengaging with acting and the world and Clean Break which means a lot to me. Thank you"
"It provides an essential support to vulnerable women and helps them move on to a better future. I am supporting Clean Break, I hope you will too".
The Covid-19 pandemic is presenting us with a new, unknown & frightening world to navigate. There is an increased risk that vulnerable women will suffer from isolation, domestic violence, poor nutrition, a deterioration in mental & physical health, & relapse into drug and alcohol abuse. There is often a knock-on effect on the children & families of these women. Without the necessary support mechanisms in place, women & their families will struggle to rebuild their lives & recover.
To provide tailored support packages for our Members responding to the ever-changing crisis presented by Covid19. A blended virtual & physical offer to accommodate social distancing with a phased return to our building, including; 1 to 1 support; care packages focusing on self & family care, creativity & nutrition; health & wellbeing workshops and technical support for those struggling with the digital world; all designed to enable the women to develop long term positive, healthily habits.
