    Situation

Bethlem Hospital provides specialist care for patients facing severe mental illness (SMI). In the UK, half a million people are experiencing these problems right now, a situation made worse by COVID-19. The hospital is a lifeline for those struggling to recover through regular services. We believe everyone deserves to receive the support they need to live a long, healthy and fulfilling life. We need your support today to help continue to deliver these services to those who need them most.

    Solution

Access to nature and taking part in projects that reduce isolation are proven to help recovery. We offer the perfect therapeutic environment for promoting recovery, with woodland and meadows that are designated as a site of importance for nature conservation. With your support we can deliver a range of award-winning therapeutic sessions that connect patients to nature through gardening, teaching them about our environment and the beauty of the world around us.
