    Situation

Our children/young people face multiple disadvantages: 1. The majority of our children are from London boroughs of Hackney and Haringey, facing high levels of deprivation. Parents of disabled children face additional financial pressures. 2. Disabled children grapple with low self-esteem and isolation as well as poor physical health. 3. Many parents are unable to manage their child's dietary needs, e.g. gluten free, or needing to feed them.

    Solution

We will provide meals and activities directly from school for disabled children that will have the following impact: 1.We will provide 1:1 volunteer support to ensure that each child gets exactly the food they need. 2. Our children will eat healthy nourishing meals, sometimes the only one they get each day. 3.Users will enjoy a sense of fulfillment and pride as they participate in different activities. 4.Users will develop relationships with other children and volunteers.
