Situation
Forever Hounds Trust works tirelessly for the welfare and rescue of greyhounds, lurchers, whippets and other sighthounds. We care for them, and match them to their forever family, giving them a second chance of a happy life. When a dog comes into our care, we don’t know their history. We don’t know how much support they will need, or how much this will cost. It takes vets, behaviourists, fosterers, volunteers and a whole lot of love for us to ‘fix’ a dog and prepare them for their forever home.
Solution
Forever Hounds Trust’s work is led by volunteers across the country who co-ordinate the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs. We home over 300 dogs per year, and provide safe, comfortable kennel spaces, veterinary care, behavioural advice and post-homing support for the dog’s whole life, to secure the best match for their forever home. We are here for all the abused, abandoned and unwanted greyhounds and lurchers that need us – and will provide all the support and treatments they need.
