Situation
The Library is one of the world's leading archives on the Holocaust and Nazi era and provides a resource to oppose antisemitism and other forms of prejudice and intolerance. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and in anticipation of the difficult economic times ahead, our mission is more important than ever. Demand upon the Library has increased in recent years. We are seeing rising intolerance throughout the world and the current crisis is aggravating antisemitism racism and xenophobia.
Solution
The terrible consequences of hatred and division must be understood in order to be stopped. Our vision is of a continuously developing library, archive and information service for the public, dedicated to supporting research, learning, teaching and advocacy about the Holocaust and genocide, their causes and consequences. By raising money for our core costs we can continue providing our vital services to the public which will help us fulfil our vision.
