We drive collaboration between vets, doctors and researchers so that all humans and animals benefit from sustainable and equal medical progress, but not at the expense of an animal’s life. This is One Medicine. We are working to engage younger generations in this sustainable approach to health.

    Situation

According to the WHO, around 75% of all emerging infectious diseases, such as Coronaviruses, can be transmitted between humans and animals yet there is currently no formal platform for the sharing of knowledge between human and veterinary medicine. There is little focus within the education system on the similarities that exist between species. We seek to change this.

    Solution

With support and information from Humanimal Trust, we believe everyone can contribute to One Medicine – in this case through learning and education. We aim to introduce to children the similarities that exist between humans and animals from a young age so that they will be inspired to actively pursue the re-convergence of human and animal health. Additionally, our CPD courses will allow professionals in relevant fields to collaborate, share knowledge and better understand One Medicine.
