There are an increasing number of vulnerable people facing court alone because they have no way of paying for expert legal help. They might be struggling to see their children, be close to losing their home, have been defrauded or be facing an employment or immigration tribunal alone. Without proper legal advice and representation, people are much less likely to get the justice they deserve.
On average, we hear from 50 new people every week facing a complicated legal problem alone. We help those that are eligible for assistance by searching for a barrister who has agreed to volunteer their time and expertise. The lawyer may offer legal advice, drafting of documents or actual representation in court; saving the vulnerable person from the terror and stress of trying to present their legal case to a judge alone.
"I would like to extend a massive thank you, without your help mine and my child's life would've been devastatingly different. Your services saved me. I can't thank you enough.”
“Thank you so much for this work. It really is a lifeline in difficult times. My barrister is extremely helpful.”
