This campaign has now closed

This is a difficult time for patients and families who've been hit by the devastation of a brain tumour. Recently we've seen a 50% increase in support enquiries and almost 60% of these requests for help were relating to COVID-19. Providing high-quality support to our community right now is critical.

    Situation

Getting a brain tumour diagnosis can make you feel like your world has stopped. But for many patients today, this really is the case. We are responding to the reality that some peoples’ brain tumour treatments and appointments are being changed, postponed and cancelled due to Coronavirus. This is a hugely difficult time for patients and their families, and people have told us they feel lost and abandoned. This recent uncertainty led to an unprecedented demand for our support services.

    Solution

We are working tirelessly to support our community and have launched a dedicated Coronavirus hub on our website which features expert and community advice on how to cope during self-isolation. We also launched our Relationship Service to support individuals who have been diagnosed with a brain tumour and couples who have been affected by a diagnosis. As people are combatting isolation and couples quarantine under fraught circumstances we know how vital this support will continue to be.
