KCS is raising money to support vulnerable children and young people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We are providing healthy fresh, hot meals to children over the summer Holidays.

Situation
Due to the pandemic many children and families are struggling to feed themselves with good fresh nutritious food. With KCS’s help we can encourage and create ways that families can access food and recipes to make healthy dishes for their children and families to eat. We will also provide meals for those that cannot prepare and cook food for themselves at home.
Solution
Our project will work with local food banks to distribute fresh produce and ingredients to those children and families most in need. We are planning to work with our pop-up Kitchen where possible to demonstrate some easy straight forward delicious healthy recipes that children and families can make together at home. We will also be working with the local food banks and will cook up to 30-50 hot meals every day to help local communities.
