Every week, London Music Masters delivers a high quality music education to 1,300 primary school children from socio-economically challenged areas. Amidst the marginalisation of arts in schools, we believe all children should be able to access the power of music, no matter their background.
It ran from 12:00 PM, 23 June 2020 to 6:00 PM, 3 July 2020

Music helps me to be a better person. It also helps me with my mood.
The support and ongoing teaching during this topsy turvy period has been absolutely amazing.
I'm so happy to be involved with London Music Masters because the work that I've seen them do is something that I really, really believe in - to see young children really enjoying music and learning their instrument from a very young age, which I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do.
Schools are closed for the foreseeable future, but we have an obligation to each of the 1,300 children we work with to help them continue to make progress, and also to maintain a sense of routine and achievement which will be so vital to their wellbeing and mental health over the coming months, as well as supporting their educational progress. We also need to be in a stable and resilient position to be able to keep working with our pupils and ensure a smooth transition back to school life.
Our team of staff and freelance teachers have been mobilised to create physical and online teaching and learning resources for the children which pick up precisely where their last in–person lesson left off, ensuring minimal disruption. We are also looking to make musical resources and activities available to support the wider school community - not just those children who currently learn with us.
