    Situation

Working within the most deprived area of Lambeth. The summer period is specifically a time when we at the Loughborough Community Centre plan to provide a busy and vibrant Summer of Play for disadvantaged children and young people. As we plan to re-open our doors at the Max Roach Centre post Covid lockdown. This summer more than ever, we need additional funding to deliver an adapted and diverse range of activities to support the positive mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable children/young people up to 13 years old.

    Solution

The Summer of Play is a clear and immediate project that provides a free and safe space with quality play/activity opportunities and a nutritious lunch during the school holidays. Our project also increases the opportunities for all children and families that participate to be well connected with others in the community, provides positive and productive experiences.
