The Budleigh Salterton Arts Centre and Museum

Balance The Books

Budleigh Salterton Arts Centre and Museum ('Fairlynch') is an all-volunteer heritage centre in its 53rd year. In recent years annual income has exceeded expenditure by about £5,000, which is unsustainable. This project aims to attract sufficient donations to balance income and expenditure.

  • The best of Budleigh Salterton is on display in Fairlynch. Local history and local geology sit together in a charming building.

  • Museums - and of course some books - provide an invaluable way of understanding the past and how it relates to our own times. Fairlynch in its wonderfully quirky fashion makes the journey an enjoyable experience.
