Make Christmas happen for our young people!

The young people who come to us live without hope, in the most deprived neighbourhoods, many from families who are now long term unemployed. Christmas is a tough time for them as they see all the razzamatazz around them, whilst facing a time of loneliness & disappointment. Suicide rates go up.

  • “TwentyTwenty has the most complete programme model we have seen for complex NEETs and delivers outcomes at a rate double our best benchmark to date, supporting young people with complex needs who have failed in mainstream education to progress into employment or training".

TwentyTwenty is a charity that breaks cycles of worklessness, hopelessness and dependency in the most deprived areas of Leicestershire and Derbyshire and Rutland, through working with young people aged 11-24. We believe that every young person has incredible potential, and that the most disaffected young people are resources to be developed rather than problems to be solved

We provide Lifeskills Centres in Leicester and Derby, training NEET 16-19 year olds in education and essential business skills, helping them gain qualifications and work experience, with wraparound pastoral support and offers of counselling where deeper-rooted issues might be barriers to their success. Also Love4Life’ programmes supporting vulnerable girls 10-19 through relationship education, sexual health services and mental health workshops in youth groups on deprived estates.
