This Christmas, Stratford East is taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2019 to raise money in order to give more children and young people in Newham the opportunity to experience theatre. Help us set the stage for their future with technical training and development, subsidised tickets for young people, and increased work experience opportunities.

Situation
Our Newham home has the lowest arts engagement in London and 37% of people live in poverty. It is also a young borough, with 53% under 30. Many children living in our community will have never seen a play before let alone considered a career in theatre.
Solution
We want to raise £10,000 to give more young people free tickets, work experience placements and paid positions in technical theatre.
