Situation
Society doesn't value the views of young people. Young people lack the confidence and skills to step up and be leaders. By increasing leaderskills in young people, we enable them to go on to become effective leaders of change. We want to increase the impact we have on young people’s leadership journey. With your support young young people from all backgrounds will be empowered to be confident leaders, creating change on issues they care about.
Solution
This project will support our 'Leadership Development Programme', in which 150 young people from all backgrounds come together to learn leadership and team building skills over a weekend residential. This project will help fulfil our commitment to increase the diversity of young people in leadership roles, increase positive outcomes for young leaders and increase the impact they have on their communities. This project will enable young people to step up as leaders and create change.
