The UK prides itself on being a nation of animal lovers. It should also be a global leader in farm animal welfare. Whatever the outcomes of the general election and Brexit debate, Compassion in World Farming will campaign to ensure that any new trade deals, domestic legislation and government policies protect and enhance animal welfare, environmental and food standards. Our goal is to deliver a humane, fair, healthy and sustainable food system – for the sake of animals, people and the planet.

Compassion in World Farming aims to campaign directly, and inspire a national movement, to put pressure on Government, MPs, lobbyists, and policy makers, convincing them to make the right choices for animal welfare, human health and the environment. Alongside humane, sustainable policies and legislation, we will also champion higher welfare farming and standards through direct work with food companies and by educating consumers about what they’re eating, and what it means for farm animals.
