Situation

A stateless minority group in Myanmar, the Rohingya have faced discrimination, violence and extreme poverty for decades. This latest influx brings the number of Rohingya refugee children in Bangladesh to more than 720,000. Camps are severely overcrowded, leaving thousands with no safe space or shelter from the monsoon rain. Unicef is doing everything we can to deliver life-saving aid for Rohingya children and families in Bangladesh. We must act now to save as many children’s lives as possible.
