Near to five million people across the region are suffering from malnutrition—42% of the population of South Sudan! Young children are especially vulnerable, too fragile to physically fight off the dangers of acute malnutrition. Medair will provide immediate therapy and follow-up care for those already malnourished; preventative services such as health care, better hygiene, access to safe water, and nutrition education.
