We want to make sure that every seriously ill child has the chance to experience the magic of a Make-a-Wish wish. Many of the children we work with will die in childhood, so every wish we grant could be the last truly happy, care-free experience they will have together as a family.

Having a child with a life-threatening condition will turn your life upside down. Not only does the child face gruelling treatment schedules, they also miss out on school and the chance to grow up like any other child. They may experience pain and hospital stays, isolated from family and friends. This can place a real strain on the family.
