Situation

Over the last 100 years, the demands of agriculture and development have led to the disappearance of many wildlife-rich areas, such as woods, wetlands and wildflower meadows. This is contributing to the increasing problem of today's children losing contact with the natural world. Without regular access to outdoor play children miss out on the pleasures and benefits wildlife can offer; whereas, research shows those who interact with the environment are more likely to grow up happier and healthier

Solution

To tackle this 'extinction of experience', we offer safe outdoor environments where children and young adults can reconnect with the natural world and its many wonders. Our five Environmental Education centres provide inspiring activities, tailored to age
