More than 1.2 million people in the UK use a wheelchair. Our aim is to help everyone whose lives could be transformed by our dogs, which includes people with even the most complex disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, MS, brittle bones, polio, arthritis, spina bifida, spinal injuries and amputees including members of HM Armed Forces. They are trained to help with everyday tasks such as opening and shutting doors, unloading the washing machine, picking up dropped items etc.

Through the support of the Big Give Christmas Challenge it will fund the training for five assistance dogs from an 8 week old puppy to 15 months when they will be ready for advanced training. The dogs will then be matched with a disabled person so they ca
