As part of a continuation of our work with homelessness groups in Bradford we propose to engage with people who have experienced homelessness. Through participation in an interior design project participants will gain creative skills that give them a better chance of maintaining future tenancies.

Situation
The transition from living in supported accommodation to independent living is often a difficult one. Many tenancies are lost because landlords are unhappy with the way in which the new tenant is treating their property. By providing participants with a cheap way of having more input into their future homes, and therefore a greater sense of ownership, the project aims to reduce the risk of tenancies being cut short.
Solution
Artworks will run a series of interior design workshops to teach groups accessing homeless support organisations how to transform rooms into spaces that reflect their personalities and aspirations. Workshops will cover a range of activities from creating
