To bring Cornwall's tin mining heritage to life on the big screen for a new generation through completing the film production of TIN, and running a series of screenings at World Heritage Sites in Cornwall and Devon as weel as distributing the film to festivals around the world.

Situation
Cornish heritage is of little interest to many young people in the region. Many current resources, such as museums and exhibitions, could be seen as static, frozen and old fashioned. New ways to bring this heritage to life are essential to keep our history vibrant and alive and ensure it continues to be passed down through the generations. Many of Cornwall's mining regions are now deprived areas, with communities that have little opportunity for cultural activity or participation.
Solution
By creating a feature film of TIN, a comic drama about a touring opera company trying to perform its production of Beethoven's Fidelio amidst a Cornish town's mining crisis, we will bring heritage to life in a fun and dynamic way. Using comedy, film and m
